100 Trillion Dollar Economy

Our economy on our planet hit $105 Trillion dollars in 2023 (According to the International Monetary Fund- IMF- World Economic Outlook).

And according to Oxfam, we are also supposed to devolve our first trillionaire in this decade! 1 person with 1% of total global economy. Brilliant.

Oxfam also says, that in contrast to the 10 years to make this first trillionaire, it will take 230 years to alleviate poverty.

How does ANY society allow 1 person to accumulate 1% of annual global economy? we know there are loop holes, but this is a veritable black hole!

Who thinks this is a fun game? Do we have any ‘rules’ for the 1%? This is simple economic barbarism!

I could take this post in a zillion different directions. But maybe that is just a distraction from the cold hard facts of how inequitable our world has become to ‘devolve’ a single trillionaire in lieu of all else.
